Bridging the Gap Between Life Insurance Capital and Green Infrastructure.
Advisory for Greener Insurance (AGI) LLP is a specialized actuarial advisory partnership. We bypass traditional asset management intermediaries and status quo biases to help insurers source compliant green energy infrastructure assets under risk-based capital frameworks.
Disrupting the Institutional Status Quo
Traditional asset managers and intermediaries operate through paper-centric, outdated corporate credit structures. This highly fragmented supply chain introduces friction, high fees, and systematic biases that prevent long-term patient capital from flowing into sustainable real-world assets.
-
Agency & Status Quo Bias
Incumbent managers profit from standard investment-grade bonds and resist shifting to localized originations.
-
Traditional "Credit Rating" Mismatch
Actuaries are unconvinced by static paper audits. Infrastructure debt requires physics-driven, engineering-based asset valuation.
-
Severe Mismatch & Stranded Risks
Fossil-fuel heavy investments face double materiality: rapid devaluation from climate transition policies and litigation risks.
Digitally-Enabled Direct Placement
AGI LLP connects the physical engineering of renewable energy output with corporate actuarial ALM math. By utilizing automated data pipelines and robust actuarial parameters, we bypass traditional intermediaries entirely.
-
Physics-Based Valuation Models
Calculating cash flows based on engineering lifespans: solar cell solar-leakage maintenance, battery storage decay curves, and locational network factors.
-
Fiduciary Duty & Capital Optimization
Helping actuaries manage duration liabilities, unlocking regulatory risk based advantages to maximize Return on Capital (ROC).
-
Unprecedented Regional Sourcing Moat
Active "boots-on-the-ground" networks generating local currency pipelines, bridging developmental finance and private wealth capital to secure high yields.
Fiduciary Duty & Capital Relief Alignment
Global legal precedents and regulatory shifts mandate green infrastructure investments to fulfill fiduciary obligations and optimize capital efficiency.
Green Infrastructure Cost Savings
IAIS ICS cuts capital charges by 23% (infrastructure equity) & 50-73% (infrastructure debt). APAC regulators (Singapore RBC2, Korea K-ICS 2026) offer targeted relief for renewable/AI-based assets. Hong Kong RBC incentivizes local HKD-denominated green investments.
Capital Match & Product Engineering
We work directly with life insurer C-suites across two primary functional divisions to optimize strategic asset allocation and product-level profitability.
Bespoke Local Origination
Sourcing physical corporate-grade renewable assets (Solar PV, agrivoltaics, industrial biomethane, and utility BESS) directly in local Southeast Asian currencies. Guarantees assets remain local to satisfy statutory capital relief regulations.
Pre-Origination PhaseAgentic Asset Discovery
Automated screening engines utilizing a strict set of actuarial valuation parameters coupled with machine learning to process unstructured records and efficiently evaluate the economic viability and risk factors of any green project types.
Advanced Venture Due DiligenceContinuous Asset Valuation
Performing rigorous quarterly and annual appraisals using Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) models, adjusting for actual project yields, updated asset degradation factors, and credit spreads to support statutory reporting, Solvency II, and LICAT reviews.
Asset Valuation StageInsurance Product ALM Integration
Integrating high-yielding green debt (>10% coupons) directly into Indexed Universal Life (IUL) option budgets and Participating Whole Life (ParWL) asset-liability matching (ALM) models, resolving duration mismatch and stabilizing long-term crediting rates.
ALM & Liability Integration"LineSlip" Weather De-Risking
Formulating specialized business disruption "LineSlip" insurance Coverages in collaboration with expert weather de-risking platforms to hedge solar assets against extreme storm and wildfire perils, converting weather risks into reliable, bond-like yields.
Infrastructure Risk HedgingDynamic Valuation Dashboard
Client-facing business intelligence portal delivering automated, dynamic performance updates (on a monthly, bi-annual, or annual cycle) directly into insurance executive systems, facilitating continuous asset valuation, CSM estimates, and strategic reporting.
Automated Asset ReportingOur Sourcing Corridor & Ecosystem Partnerships
True institutional-grade execution cannot be achieved in isolation. We have built an airtight alliance network that covers backend asset administration, structural de-risking, and active investment placements.
Global Asset Administrators
Outsourced administrative frameworks targeting institutional back-end asset reporting, accounting integration, and operational tracking.
Specialty Weather De-Risking Platforms
Cooperative modeling leveraging standardized "LineSlip" business disruption coverages to guarantee physical solar yields against severe storm and wildfire hazards.
Strategic Pipeline Tracking (2026 Engagement Overview)
September Anchor Client Pitch
Secured multi-stage structural pitch for Group Chief Actuary targeting a 3-year trial balloon allocation of bespoke green infrastructure debt.
Local Product Placement (TW-ICS Framework)
Direct placement evaluations of local green asset cashflows into regional insurance product-manufacturing lines, aligning ALM modeling for Chief Risk Officers and Chief Investment Officers.
Southeast Asian Placement Corridors
Joint exploratory outreach spanning Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, and South Korea to coordinate direct placement mandates.
